Holiday Care Package Program

Donations:
Starting today, you can make donations in person or online. Every dollar from this item goes directly into our Holiday Care Fund. That money, plus our own contributions, is used only to build holiday care packages for local families.

Holiday Care Packages:
This program is separate from our regular weekly bundles. For the holidays, we are putting together a limited number of care packages with about a week’s worth of food for households that are really feeling the squeeze. Families fill out a short, private form, and recipients are selected at random from all completed applications, so it is fair and not based on who you know.

If someone is selected, we email them to let them know a package is ready. They have one week to pick it up. If a package is not picked up, it goes to the next applicant in line so nothing goes to waste.

Supporting Local Food Banks:
If there are any holiday packages or extra items left at the end of the program, we will pass them along to our partner food banks so they still land on the tables of people who need them.
